Basic concepts of democracy?

Democracy based upon all men being created equal with certain rights due to a human being regardless of race, gender, social economic status, or religion. Those rights consist of freedom to exercises religion or not to, to live free of terrorism, and the pursuit of happiness as long as it doesn't infringe on another persons happiness or freedoms
