There is a low pressure area about 900 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands, Invest 91L. Right now, it's just a blob of thunderstorms as viewed on the satellite that is trying to get organized. It looked pretty good before, then it kinda collapsed. It's a wait and see to see if it can organize into a tropical system. At this point, it's way too early to say whether it will form into a hurricane, or what path it will take. It's been pretty much stalled out in it's current location. The Cape Verde Islands are off of the west coast of Africa, to give you a reference point. However, conditions are favorable for further development.

At my high school I see many freshman and sopres even juniors and seniors reading Twilight, Percy Jackson, and other weak young adult novels.I've read Twilight and Percy Jackson and they're written poorly even for a young adult novel. Why doesnt the military make helicopters with protective armour around all the rotors?

Well even now, helicopter rotors are already bullet resistant against small arms (M4's, Ak-47's, M16's, etc.) But no matter what you add on to any vehicle, armor piercing rounds will without a doubt cause too much damage to protect from. Not only that, but if you add the rotors on the edge of the rotors, then the flow of air created from the rotor would be disrupted and would make it difficult to move from side to side. And rotors are incredibly hard to hit as you can't really hit it without hitting the bottom of the the helicopter to begin with.

Riding Mower only starts with starting fluid(ether)?

I have an old model Ariens riding mower. it has seen better days. i purchased it from a repair shop for next to nothing. I completely redid the fuel system, completely flushed and changed the oil system, as well as other misc. repairs: fixing the tires, sharpening the blade, tightening everything, etc. the only thing i haven't been able to figure out is why i can only start the mower by spraying starter fluid into the air filter. after spraying i can either pull start or turn the key and it will start right up. i was wondering is there anything i can do to make it start up without pulling apart the air filter every time. all suggestions will be appreciated.

Which would you rather get? Suede Boots or Leather Boots?

You can't go wrong with brown or black, and grey would be cool because you don't see it as much. All are neutral colors that go with anything, so I would concentrate more on the actual style of the boot. The important question is...are you hard on your boots/shoes? Suede is a lot harder to keep clean and does not wear and tear as well as leather. I always get many more years out of my leather boots than my suede boots. Suede tends to change color and show damage on the toe and heel, even if you use shockguard or some other weatherproofing spray (which I highly recommend if you do choose the suede.) So, if you beat on your stuff, definitely go with leather. I personally think leather looks dressier and clier so if that is your goal, definitely leather.

kickboxing is just that, kicks and boxing. Mixed Martial Arts is Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, karate, wrestling, judo, submission fighting and kickboxing as well. I think that MMA is better because it makes a better well rounded fighter, because if you just take kickboxing and the fight goes to the ground then you wont know what to do, but if you take MMA training you might know submissions and grappling to help you in any situation.

Whats the name of the little tube used when trying to collect gas from a reaction?

Im not very good at wording it as a question but what it does is this. In a flask you add one of the reactants. Then you pour the other reactant in this tube that i dont know the name of, which is placed inside the flask. This means that the reactants are not yet mixed. Then you place a bung on the top with a rubber tube leading to a gas syringe to collect any gas produced from the reaction. And when you want the reaction to start you tilt the flask until the tube thingy releases all of its contents and the reaction starts. This way no gas is lost.

And as for the bullying, you know youve heard this before, but either ignore it or laugh with them. Maybe ask to go to a different school if you just cant handle it. ANd for everything else too, you just need someone to vent to. my 5 year old daughter seems to want punishment?? The other day I got a call from her teacher saying that normally every recess she tells the playground moniter she has to have a 5 minute timeout for some misbehavior during cl. Ive bottled this up inside of me for a long long time and now just need to get it all out. I want to know if anyone else feels this way. I constantly feel hate for everyone around me besides my close family, my mother father and brother and sister, and also my best friend. Besides that i always feel hate for people and could care less what happens to them. I am either hateful towards others, or I am extremely depressed it is a mixture of the two. I also have been very close to suicide before. I was diagnosed with bronchitis a month ago, since then I took antibiotics and cough syrup, but the cough syrup made my chest feel more tighter and I coughed more. I used albuterol inhaler for the chest tightness, but couldn't anymore because of heart paplitations. I tried to use Xopenex inhaler, but it didn't work much. I'm not coughing much less and the chest tightness comes and goes. It's been a month now so I recently went to the doctor and he gave me Patanase and said I have post-nasal drip. I have a dry cough and mucus always in the back of my throat but my nose has always been clear. However, I've been using the Patanase for a week and I'm still coughing, but much less and I still have chest tightness here and there. Should I see the doctor again and get another med instead? US Army Special Forces: is making the cut more about physical prowess or sheer will?

I have been considering entering service in the military, and from the descriptions and information I've found, it seems like the special forces role is the one I'd be most interested in. I'm pretty good with language, and able to ess and yze situations pretty accurately, along with being able to memorize information easily, proven by my graduating high school with a 3.5 without ever really trying to hard. However, the only athletics I've ever participated in when in high school was cross-country running. Therefore I'm rather on the weak side, especially from a military perspective: 5'7" about 150 lbs. So I'm wondering which is the more important quality to bring into training: natural physical prowess or intellect and determination? It seems as though I'd be able to bulk up as long as I had the drive to get through the rigorous and numerous training courses required to make rank, but the mental ability has to be innate, right?

Cronic Cough, 17 months?

What is the reason for this cough. Could it have anything to do with his stomach because whenever he coughs a lot he burps. He also throws up a lot. His stomach is sensitive. He can't eat a lot of food, and certain types of foods. He used to smoke but stopped 17 months ago and that is when he got this cough. He had it but it wasn't this bad. it was a small cough. The cough he has right now is dry. No mucus comes out when he coughs. He feels his chest to his throat is all dry. sometimes the cough lasts a couple of days straight. he has tried nose sprays recomended by doctors but they don't work. He has been tested for bronchitis and the doctor says his lungs are clean and good. the doctor said that he doesn't have bronchitis. He also tested for alergies and he does not have any. A Question About My Workout Routine...?

i'm thinking the ab workout is a bit excessive. you are spending half of your day at the gym. unless that's the only way you can do it. bottom line if you want a sixpack- lots of cardio and eat a strict diet. genetics pays a big part as well. there are people who don't work out, yet have a sixpack. i hate these people-lol. anyways, limit carbs- alot. eat veggies and fresh fruit for your carbs. continue to lift weights as you are. muscle burns more fat. diet plays a huge part when cutting up. cut out the cereal or at least eat it only in the am. make sure it's not a sugary cereal or substitute oatmeal. try this for a few weeks to a month and see if you see results. hope this helps.

There is not exactly any yarn better than others as far as brand names. I think a thicker yarn is easier than a thin yarn fo a beginner. Start by doing something simple. i own a Creative T6060 5.1 speaker set along with sound blaster audigy value sound card.all speakers work fine except the center one. i have the right drivers from CD and enabled all 5.1 features like eax,cmss,b redirection etc;but all speakers deliver good output while center one delivers low output while testing and while playing games,movies the dialogues come from front left n right speakers and the center one is dead.i don't know whether it's a hardware problem or software problem?but when i checked the audio port on sub woofer wit other speaker cable,it works and all the ports work fine!

Child molestatons accusation during custody battle?

My husband has been accused of molesting his 5 year old daughter. According to the accusation I was present while he did this, therefore I know this wasn't true. He hasn't been able to see his daughters from his previous marriage for 5 months while they have been investigating the allegations. The 1st allegation was found by the DHS they could neither confirm or deny that anything happened, but based upon the childs counselors information they recommeneded supervised visitation, which we haven't had. We were scheduled to go to court this last month, but a new accusation of abuse of the older daughter surfaced 1 day before court, so it was delayed to be investigated. My exhusband knows what is going on and talks to my husbands exwife. He is now threating to take my 2 boys away from me. Stating that he sees a difference in my 3 year old because my 3 year old wants to stay with him and gets upset when he drops him off. My question is, can my boys be around my husband?

Okay my dog is 10 weeks old and GSD Czech blood line. I am new with dogs... I know it was a mistake but I already have him and bonded with him. question 1: why are the czech bloodlines so diff. from the others? When I train him he always does good but only when he sees a treat in my hand. If i have no treat he does nothing. Also, why are GSDs only for experienced dog owners? I tried to answer the question not to get points, but I want to learn and help someone. I don't think myself as a stuped answer. When I answer a question, I can only do the best I can. Compare all the answer to see if they match, if they do, you have an idea who is right. Depression/Alienation...Loss of Self and Connection with the World?

Hey so i'v been in this confusing situatuon for about 2 years...It would seem that everyone but me is changing...All my frineds are out partying, getting laid, have jobs, going to college this summer, and basically progressing in and living life while im stuck at a stand still. See I feel like I have become estranged and alienated from everyone. I am currently being treated for depression and have had extreme anxiety (depersonalization/derealization,panic attacks) in the past. Currently my relationships with people are poor and feel plain awkward. Every interaction feels like a struggle to get through and the connection is just not there. Hell my SELF isn't even there it feels like. I feel so weak and awkward in public and even with my close friends. Its like Im breathing yet not truely alive...Im a sleepwalker or a zombie or something. No matter how hard I try nothing seems to flow and work out. I always feel like im being victimized and cant stand up for myself. My sense of reality and self are twisted. Its like im missing parts of myself and without them i just cannot function at full potential and strength. It also doesnt help when I see my friends having fun and doing bigger and better things with their time while im sitting in my head alone. Things like partying, girls, and just being a teenager seems so distant. My self esteem has diminshed because of this and i feel terrible. The worst part is that I know when im not depressed i am a wise strong person. I am more then capable of keeping up and going beyond my friends limitations and potential. Plus everyone treats me like im inferior or weaker in some way even though they are just messing with me , it really hurts sometimes and it definatley doesnt help at all. I feel like im a stupid freshman that doesnt know to act better or mature. Though I know that i am a genuine, matured person with real individuality and power, but all of that is blocked by the depression i beleive. And the comments and jokes about me just reinforce the thought that im weak or ignorant or a queer. For now im an outsider...No matter what i do I just cant seem to break this illusion thats keeping me from the ones I care about and keeping me caged in my mind. I am only 18 but i feel like my life is slipping right through my fingers. Everyhting is going through: school, friends, family, self esteem, self image, sanity perhaps? Is this just the depression or have i really become a dead beat? Any insight, advice, or experinces with stuff like this is much appreciated.
