Why do Malays claim that 'Athirasam'(an indian sweet) is a malay kuih so called 'kuih keling'?
It was an Indian sweet and nowdays I can see Malays starting to sell them.Since we Malaysians live in a multicultural nation it's ok.But now they are claiming that it is their so called traditional kuih and is named as 'kuih keling'.Astro even aired an advertisement claiming that it is a Malay traditional kuih.Hello what is going on here??? Is Athirasam going to end up with the same faith of Roti Canai which is originally Parotta. (No offence made to any party here.Im just curious to know.Im deeply sorry If I hurt any of your feelings.)
