You're allowed to quote scripture. It just doesn't make for a good argument when trying to convince non-Christians. And it just makes you look ignorant when you present it as objective proof. It's not proof. It's nowhere close to proof. It is the basis of your faith. It is subjective proof for you, but it is not objective proof. What if I told you you were a bad person because the Bahavad-Gita said so? Would that make a terribly convincing argument?
