Does steaming your face help clear up severely clogged pores?

I want to purchase a facial steamer (Conair Facial Sauna System) but before I do this, I want to make sure that steaming my face is actually worth it. I have extremely congested pores all around my mouth, chin, cheeks, and forehead. Does anyone know if this will help my acne problem?
