Is this considered as black magic?

for the past few days someone has been leaving hairpin at my door. we threw it out out couple of times, but it reappears, probably because someone is placing them again. this hair pin's head is placed towards the opposite side of the door. is this black magic? because no one in my family uses hair pins like that.
