How do you get rid of a hickey?

Its like directly in between by knee and well yeah you get it. Its on the inside. I really dont want my parents to see it. Is there anything i can do to get rid of it because i was suppossed to go surfing after school tomorrow but is it a better idea to stay home and wear pj pants and let it go away by its self? How long would that take?
