I would talk to your doctor and tell them the problem your having and ask the doctor to use their medical authority to express how important this is. Take her with you to the doctor and let her get blasted. If the doctor is wrong and she wants to prove it the only way that is going to happen is by sticking to the diet and see if it doesn't work. I don't believe much of what doctors say either but that is my own health I am gambling with not someone elses, and certainly not a small child's. Ask her if she is willing to stake the child's life on her opinion. If you feel she won't concede, then maybe its time to find someone who will. I really am sorry you are having so much trouble.
